“Emotion is the music of the dance between lovers; it tells us where to put our feet, and tells our partners where we need them to put theirs.” - Dr. Sue Johnson

You learned early on how to become what the room needed: the caretaker, the peacekeeper, the jokester, maybe even the invisible one. These roles often begin as survival strategies, but over time can leave you feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, and disconnected from your true self. I work with individuals and couples who want to loosen the grip of these inherited patterns on their relationships, including the one they have with themselves. Together, we peel back those layers to help you reconnect with who you truly are and build a life that feels genuinely yours.

My therapeutic style is collaborative and integrative, grounded in psychodynamic, attachment, and experiential approaches (AEDP and EFT) to create healing experiences within the therapy room. These methods help you understand the origins of patterns that feel difficult to break and gently challenge you to explore new ways of relating in the present.

Before completing my Master’s in Social Work at NYU to become a psychotherapist, I spent a decade in leadership roles within the corporate healthcare industry. I’m familiar with the pressures of high-performance environments that make balancing the personal and the professional feel impossible. The journey you’re embarking on to finally prioritize yourself takes courage, and you’re not in it alone.
